QuantumERA: Our End-of-the-Year Recap

It’s been an amazing year at QuantumERA, and we’re grateful for the experiences that have shaped and supported our company. 2024 has been full of exciting milestones and partnerships that have helped us grow. You’ll find a recap of our experience this year and highlights from our successful collaborations below.

Journigo

Since its launch last year, JourniGo, our internally developed mobile app, and interactive travel platform, has seen remarkable growth. Designed to deliver immersive and educational experiences, the app enables users to explore both well-known landmarks and hidden gems, uncovering their unique stories through engaging and interactive content. By showcasing local and national history while seamlessly blending culture and technology, JourniGo reflects our company’s mission to make learning accessible and engaging. This year, we expanded our listings to all 50 states, offering users across the country an even wider variety of destinations to explore in new and exciting ways.

We were thrilled to participate in San Japan 2024, one of Texas’s largest anime and pop culture conventions, held in our hometown of San Antonio. The event featured an indie game and developer section, which provided us with the opportunity to be part of this exciting gathering. With attendees traveling from across the country, San Japan offered a unique platform to showcase JourniGo, an app that specializes in travel and immersive experiences. Beyond the convention, JourniGo allowed attendees to explore a variety of activities, highlighting what the platform has to offer. This experience connected us with a diverse audience and reinforced our mission to make exploration and learning both engaging and accessible to all.

The Rosa Parks Museum

Our collaboration with the Rosa Parks Museum was a standout milestone in 2024. While the museum’s exhibits already had a profound impact, it sought to elevate the visitor experience by reimagining its traditional scavenger hunt. Previously, visitors used pen and paper to locate key artifacts related to the Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks’ life, and other historical figures. To modernize this activity, we developed a digital version of the scavenger hunt, complete with a 3D replica of Rosa Parks powered by Charisma.ai’s digital storytelling software. This feature allowed visitors to engage in meaningful conversations with this iconic figure, fostering a deeper and more personal connection to her story.

Collaborating with Charisma.ai provided an exciting opportunity to explore the cutting-edge world of digital storytelling. We utilized innovative features to create interactive conversations, craft dynamic character responses, and enhance narrative immersion. This hands-on experience broadened our understanding of how technology can transform storytelling, enabling us to deliver truly innovative, tech-driven experiences. What made this project even more remarkable was that the Rosa Parks Museum—along with several of our other clients—began as JourniGo users. Their familiarity with our platform inspired the creation of their standalone applications, extending the reach of our collaborative vision.

Additional Partnerships

Our collaboration with the Fire Museum of Memphis brought history and safety education to life through an engaging, interactive experience. We transformed an old arcade room into a fire safety-themed escape room, offering visitors a hands-on opportunity to learn essential fire prevention and response techniques. This immersive experience not only taught participants the critical steps of fire escape but also highlighted the vital role firefighters play in safeguarding communities.

Continuing our mission of creating impactful digital experiences, we partnered with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, a state government entity, to enhance their Spare the Air mobile app. This project focused on improving the app’s functionality to promote environmental awareness and support cleaner air initiatives. By refining its design and usability, we made vital air quality information more accessible and empowered users across the Bay Area to take action for a healthier environment. The app also includes push notifications to alert users about air quality hazards, further supporting their ability to protect themselves and their community.

The Future

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to announce the expansion of the QuantumERA team to support our growing opportunities and new projects. We’re thrilled to continue our collaborations with both returning and new clients, and we’re incredibly grateful to our clients, collaborators, and the QuantumERA team for making 2024 a successful year. With the new year upon us, we eagerly anticipate more innovative and meaningful partnerships. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and a prosperous 2025!
